After the birth of her son Amy naturally gravitated towards children’s music and discovered a new magical world opening up for her. A few years ago, her son’s preschool asked her to do music with the children on a weekly basis. The response was so great that it became very clear that she had found a new calling.

Amy sings interactive songs that are both the classics which the children love and recognize as well as a lot of originals and songs by contemporary artists. She adds finger puppets, drums, sign language and creative movement to her music which adds for a lot of variety and visuals. With years of performance experience Amy’s ability to improvise and fine tune her shows to meet the group’s energy keeps her audiences engaged and entertained.

She is currently teaching music at 6 preschools in Marin and Sonoma counties. She also performs at children’s events and birthday parties.

Active with the Bread and Roses organization, Amy regularly performs for children in hospitals, shelters and preschools.

Drawing from her rock n’ roll roots she adds a lot of rockin’ rhythms that keep the kids boppin’ and the parents toes tapping. She is motivated by inspiring the joy of music inside of each child and to not just guide them, but let them guide her to what inspires them.
