NOVATO PATCH

We’re looking forward to a great afternoon Saturday June 9th at Novato Art & Wine Festival! We’ll be performing on the new 7th Street Stage (down by Pete’s Coffee) from 2:30 to 3:30. Please come by and see us! Joining us will be vocalist Reem Regina Tatar who adds such power to our sweet harmonies. 4 part harmonies are so elevating!!!

The tracks are done and it’s off to be mixed by my husband, audio guru kind of guy Manny LaCarrubba. I am so blessed to have my music in his caring hands! This is a song I wrote about a Workplace Bully. There’s a lot of press right now about the movie “Bully” which is about kids who are bullied. I think some of the bullied kids grow up with a lot of anger and pain and some of them turn into adult bullies. I think I met one, he used to be my boss at my last corporate gig. Stay tuned, the song is in the pipeline!

We’ll be performing this Sunday May 6th to help raise funds to reopen our local theater. Come and support the cause! 2 Bands perform, mine and my son’s Class of Brass who will be kicking it up with some great R&B. Event begins at 5:00. Advanced Tickets available at Ghiringhelli’s WEBSITE

What an incredible show at the women’s facility in San Francisco. When we arrived a woman came up to me and told me that she had a really rough day and that it really helped her to know that she was going to get to hear some music this evening. This means so much to me to help others feel happiness and relief through music!

May 30th the band is performing at a men’s facility in San Rafael. More healing music!

Come join us in this larger room with the same warm and cozy vibe!

We had a great show February 3rd at Rancho Nicasio. Due to all reservations they moved us into the large room! It was a fabulous night! We also had the opportunity this evening to test out my husband, Manny LaCarrubba’s new PA speaker prototype. It sounded incredible! Here are some pic’s

This song was inspired by a couple of people who are out there doing extraordinary things. The first person is about a woman I read about in the newspaper who takes her band onto muni buses in San Francisco and plays music for the passengers. Her name is Rupa and her band is Rupa and the April Fishes. I think this is a fabulous and brave thing to do to bring a little joy and music into people’s lives when they least expect it. Surely it makes their day extraordinary. The second person is a man I have met, Michael Pritchard who is a motivational speaker as well as a successful comedian who goes into some of the toughest schools imaginable and talks with them about tolerance, bullying and self esteem. He puts himself on the line and he transforms people by his words and laughter. He is one my heroes. I have encountered his amazing gift of kindness first hand. There are people out there such as teachers, artists, volunteers and healers who may be under the radar screen but do extraordinary things to serve others. I regard them as the foot soldiers that truly make this world go around. I am thankful that I was able to put this into a song and convey my feelings about what people do from the kindness of their heart.

We had a fantastic weekend the weekend of June 11th & 12th. The trio performed (sans Dave who was unable to join us) at Fairfax Saturday then the full band at the Novato Art & Wine. Both shows we fantastic, we had a blast.

Go to the Music/Media under Videos, there’s a featured song from each of these festivals. Go to Photos and there’s some nice shots to share.
