A beautiful collection of songs delivered with sonically rich vocals and instrumentation. This is Amy’s finest work yet. The title track “Go” is about the musical inspiration that has never let her rest and has returned back into her life in full force. In “Fear” Amy expresses the crippling effects of fear in our society, how the media feeds it and how it affects us as parents and a community. “Waste Of Time” is her personal triumph over misguided expectations and her liberation to fully accept and embrace her art. Being a mother adds a fresh perspective to her writing. “Through Your Eyes” is a beautiful tribute to her son in that magical age of discovery and “Fear” describes how fear can cripple us as parents and a society.

“Landing” conveys Amy’s personal experiences and perceptions with beautifully tender and bold vocals. Produced by husband Manny LaCarrubba at the historic Plant Recording Studios. “So Sweet” is a fun upbeat song about rekindling that exciting spark that happens when you first fall in love. “Holy Man” is song inspired by the late Bob DeWitt, an extraordinary man and folk music promoter from the hills of Mariposa. “You’re Day Will Come” is about keeping the faith and following your dreams.

“Outside Looking In” is emotionally charged and beautifully delivered. Amy’s unique blues version of the famous “Over The Rainbow” has Dorothy landing on the east side of Chicago. In “Driving Me Insane”, she describes the tension that builds from unrequited love. “Outside Looking In” portrays an adult struggling with love since it wasn’t something they learned as a child. Heartfelt and insightful.
