Chloe Gasparini title

Chloe Gasparini sings “Bluebird” by Sara Bareilles.

Chloe has been accepted into the prestigious Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU which only accepts 40 students into the program each year!

We produced this video for submission and consideration for The Steve Silver Foundation & Beach Blanket Babylon’s Scholarship for the Arts. Only three $10,000 scholarships will be awarded! We’ll find out soon if she gets it!!

Chloe who is 18 years old, has been singing since the age of four and has been surrounded by music her whole life. She sings, plays guitar and piano, and writes her own songs. Her career goal is to become a recording artist/performer and a successful entrepreneur in the music industry! I would say she is well on her way!!

A senior at San Marin High School who participates with the SmARTT music program, she sings with the jazz choir under the direction of Emily Gates and Allison McIvor, the funk band as well as musical theater. She recently played the leading role of “Belle” in SM SmARTT’s production of “Beauty and the Beast.” Since my son is in the SM jazz band I’ve enjoyed hearing Chloe perform the various concerts and theater performances for the past 2 years.

It was such a treat to work with her and record this audio/video. She is such a sweet and down to earth person. When she arrived at my studio, she was so relaxed and just ready to go. She stepped up to the mic, I pressed record and voila! She “nailed it!” First take, nothing to it. Her complete command and flawless performance was really impressive! We did about 4 takes but each one was exactly the same, “amazing!” What a pro! It’s no wonder though because Chloe’s family absolutely drips of musical talent. The youngest of 4 siblings her older brother Drew Gasparini is an award winning Composer, Singer/Songwriter and Musical Theater Producer who’s doing amazing things off broadway in New York City. Her mom Kele, who I met while performing in musical theater together, is an accomplished vocalist, musical theater performer and voice teacher.

It is so inspiring and to work with such a gifted young singer! I am really looking forward to seeing her musical future unfold! Good Luck Chloe on getting the scholarship!!
